How are appointments scheduled?

•    We do our best to make all appointments in a timely manner. The scheduled appointment is reserved specifically for your child. Any change in this appointment affects many patients.

•    We strive to see all patients on time for their scheduled appointment. There are times when our schedule is delayed in order to accommodate an injured child or an emergency. Please accept our apology in advance should this occur during your appointment. We will do the exact same if your child is in need of emergency treatment.

•    A parent/ legal guardian must be present during the first visit in order to sign all legal documents and consent to treatment.

•    We have reserved specific times in our schedule for different types of appointments based on our patients treatment needs.

•    You do not require a referral to schedule an appointment in our office.  New patients are always welcomed!

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

•    Appointment times are reserved specifically for your child and we ask you to notify our office two (2) business days in advance so that we may give that time to another patient who is in need of treatment.

•    While we understand that unexpected things do happen, we would like to count on your assistance in this regard. We reserve the right to release a patient from our care if two appointments are missed without cancellation notice.

How do I pay for dental care at the office?

•    Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided.  For the convenience of our patients, we accept debit, MasterCard or Visa.

Will my insurance cover the dental fees?

•    Dental Insurance - there is no direct relationship between our office and your insurance company. The type of plan chosen by you, and/or your employer determines your insurance benefits. As such, we have no say in the selection of your insurance company, no control over the terms of your contract, the methods of reimbursement or the determination of your insurance benefits.

•    We do not accept assignment of benefits from any insurance company. However, we will gladly submit your claims electronically to your primary insurance on your behalf providing your insurance company accepts electronic claims.  Any reimbursement by your insurance company should be made directly to you according to the terms of your contract with them. Please inform our office of any insurance changes or restrictions.

•    We are Pediatric Specialists; therefore, we follow the current ODA Certified Pediatric Dentist Fee Guide.  Please contact your insurance provider directly if you have questions about your insurance benefits.
